the whole point is that the naked human eye cannot see infered light. these goggles give off this light and have a special lens or electrical sensor which turns the infared light into visible light.

The light is very dim that the LEDs emit. However, if someone else is wearing these too, it will look like they are wearing a flashlight on their head because you will see their LED’s.
You only have one screen on your right eye and the screen is very small. It’s very hard to judge distance when using them. I had fun with them for about 5 minutes and that was it.

Ultracool toy 4 the kidz, and as a side note, an infrared emiiting panel for a security camera, or a common army surplus infrared filter on an ordinary flashlight (‘pocket torch’outside the USA) will extend the usable range. DIY types may make their own external emitter/IR light source from IR LEDs scavenged from old TV remotes.
